“The Beginning”
My husband and I purchased a house in July. It was built in 1925 named, “ASSISI” as you will notice in the picture. This is not the first house we bought nor built since we’ve been together. We have done many house projects together. Yes, yes… we are happily married with 4 beautiful children.
This is the only house we bought that is older than both of us. This is the only house we have had to completely gut to renovate.
In saying this, I decided to start this blog because i kinda thought blogging about it might be fun, enlightening and stimulating! I almost decided to compare the progress of this house to that of pregnancy.
I am a retired Labor and Delivery RN. When the builder said the project will take NINE months to complete, the bell just went off!
